ROLE STUDENT IT CONSULTANT (INTERNAL)

The Data, Optimization & Infrastructure team manages and implements tools, as well as analyzes and automates processes, increasing the company's efficiency. Additionally, they build and optimize data products to enable new insights for better decision-making, objective setting, and monitoring across the organization.
As the Student Internal IT Consultant at SOUNDBOKS, you will provide IT support to the organization, ensuring overall productivity and security. Additionally, you will oversee the IT infrastructure and improve and manage hardware and processes.
Okay, let’s make things a little more concrete. Here’s what we expect your daily life to look like:
IT Support: You'll provide general IT support to your colleagues and optimize related processes (e.g., improve the self-service IT support and keep it updated)
IT Process Optimization: You analyze and improve IT processes, increasing the company’s efficiency and security.
Application Management and Compliance: You’ll manage our critical company applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, 1Password) and roll out new applications and functionalities while ensuring continued GDPR compliance.
IT Infrastructure and Security: With your extensive knowledge of our IT infrastructure and security, you’ll establish and enforce policies and train end-users (incl. IT onboarding, etc.)
External IT Partnership Coordination: You’ll be the go-to person for our external IT infrastructure partners, which involves regular alignments and meeting facilitation.
Hardware Acquisition and Management: You handle the inventory, procurement, and lifecycle of IT hardware, ensuring that your colleagues can do their work efficiently (e.g., laptops, phones, printers, meeting room hardware).
In order to become a success in this role, we believe that your profile should be aligned with the bullets listed below. However, we acknowledge that success can take many forms, so please do apply even if you don’t tick all the boxes.
You’re pursuing an IT degree, and you likely have 2-3 years left in your studies.
Your interest in IT extends beyond academics and this has likely showcased in either professional and personal settings, or both.
You carry experience working with MS 365, ideally also their cloud services.
You hold basic knowledge of IT security and have an interest in learning more.
Described as positive and service-minded, you thrive in solution-oriented approaches, diving deep into challenges to find effective solutions.
Your verbal and written communication skills are top-notch - you're also really good at explaining tech stuff to non-technical people.
Ideally, you’ve worked in an IT-related role previously.
You like to take initiative and are always looking for ways to improve, learn, and develop.
