We are looking for a student/part-time assistant who will help us evolve our Universal Design methods, DesignLab facility in DTU Skylab and support our involvement of end-users in workshops as part of the programme “Technology Leaving no one Behind” – a flagship initiative anchored at DTU Skylab to foster inclusive innovation, entrepreneurship, and education.
Primary areas of responsibility
As a person, you are proactive, inventive, and accustomed to having different tasks on your plate at the same time and ready to solve tasks ad hoc. You must be a good finisher with attention to detail and organization. You are welcoming and are always at eye level with people around you.

Salary and appointment terms
If you have yet to obtain a bachelor’s degree, you will be titled as ‘Student Assistant’, and your appointment will be based according to the multi-union collective agreement for the Organization of Public Employees – Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State). If you hold a bachelor’s degree your title will be ‘Part-time Assistant’ and your appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
Expected starting date is 1 August 2024. Working hours are on average 12 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. Starting date is as soon as possible (or according to mutual agreement). The employment runs as long as you are an active student.
You will be employed at DTU Skylab, and the workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus, Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark.
You will be part of a dedicated ‘Technology Leaving No One Behind’ team of 7 with a senior team leader, an innovation consultant, 2 fellow student assistants at DTU Skylab, a PhD student and an Associate Professor at DTU Entrepreneurship.
However, the employment may also offer the opportunity to take on tasks connected to other projects and activities at DTU Skylab.
