We are looking for a Tax Specialist to our Business Tax Team in Group Tax in Danske Bank. Group Tax is a growing team of currently 18 specialists working with corporate tax, transfer pricing, VAT, operational business taxes, HR taxes etc. and is represented in the four Nordic countries, the UK and Lithuania.
Who we are
The Business Tax Team currently consists of three people located in Denmark and the team is servicing Danske Bank Group including our Nordic branches, Realkredit Danmark, Danica Pension and Nordania Leasing on operational taxes, tax reporting to authorities & HR taxes as in-house advisors.
You will be located in Copenhagen together with the rest of the 11 specialists in the Group Tax team in Copenhagen. In april 2024, we are moving to our brand new head office premises at Postgrunden nearby the Copenhagen Central Station.
The tone in Group Tax is informal and reflects the commitment as a team to assist, support and guide the business in tax matters. We hold good relations, humour and respect for each other’s personalities and competences high.
The Business Tax Team reports directly to the Head of Business Tax.
What you will do
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a team player with a tax legal background and preferably experience from the financial sector. You like to work in an international environment and across countries, to explore new areas with curiosity and most importantly; to take ownership and to drive and solve your tasks. You also have a solid sense of quality and have good communication skills (in Danish and English) and a willingness to learn and grow.
You hold a Master’s degree in law or economics as well as 2-4 years´ practical experience from the Danish Tax Agency, a Law Firm, the financial sector or from one of the bigger tax consultancy firms.
