Trainee, Renewable Energy

We are looking for a Student to take on the position as part time  Trainee in our Renewable Energy team at our Copenhagen office.

Our Renewable Energy department works with insurance solutions for on- and offshore renewable energy projects – including wind, solar, hydro, and more – during both construction and operational phases.

Within our Renewable Energy team we work with recognized experts and market-leading capability for insuring on- and offshore projects via offices in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain.

We operate as an agile organization with close cross-border co-operation and help each other across countries by sharing the latest updates and transferring knowledge. We are a matrix organization, and have regular Teams calls/meetings, in-person trainings, and seminars to continue strengthening our team in every way.

The job position

This position consists of providing underwriting support, which in essence means various administrative tasks. Moreover, you will provide financial and risk analysis used in decision making for our Renewable Energy products.

You will be taught about the insurance world and our insurance offerings. The work tasks are varied and start out gently but gradually increase following your development and desire to learn.

Your work tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Legal and financial risk analysis
• Quotation
• Police issuance
• Revision and development of insurance conditions
• Ongoing administrative tasks

A great match for us

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in contributing to underwriting of Renewable Energy insurances. Experience in the following fields would be beneficial:

• Financial analysis
• Technical understanding of renewable energy assets
• Analysis of contractual terms
• Sales and business administration

The suitable educational background for this position is a university student in the early part of their master studies, preferably within the fields of engineering, business administration, finance, or law. However, we are also open to other backgrounds.

You should be a team player with a service-minded, pro-active attitude of handling complex tasks with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

We work across borders, so language skills are vital. Speaking and writing high level English is a must, and understanding of other Nordic languages is a plus.
