An important step of the way is to provide retrofit solutions to our clients, who are increasingly looking to convert their existing fleet’s propulsion engines and gen-sets to operate more efficiently and on more environmentally friendly fuels such as LNG, Ethane, LPG, Methanol, biofuels, or Ammonia.

You’ll play an important role in:
We are looking for a Project Manager for our Warranty team with good commercial and technical knowledge and experience within the maritime sector. Your focus will be on delivering the Warranty Period of the MAN project portfolio to global customers, where you will be responsible for a variety of customer projects. The project portfolio includes currently Dual Fuel Conversion and our ME-GI/GIE Pump Vaporizer Unit (PVU), which is a standardized high pressure pump unit for supply of LNG or ethane.

Your tasks will include activities such as leading daily customer communication & coordination related to claim managing and rectification while ensuring project budgets are maintained.

Further tasks are:   

• Be one-point of contact for the customer and for internal stakeholders throughout the warranty period
• Ensure that claims and non-conformities are registered and responsibilities are delegated.
• Maintain status on vessel schedules and coordinate corrective service visits onboard.
• Initiate and coordinate all shipments to and from vessel under Guarantee
• Maintain claim database to ensure commercial settlement and closing of claims 
• Work actively on process and tool improvements in the area of warranty

You are used to and thrive in an international environment where the communication and collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders is the key for success. It will be an advantage to have education or experience in the maritime industry and knowledge from production industry. We are looking for a Project Manager who is structured and self-driven and enjoys being part of a bigger company.

• Is fluent in English both in speech and writing

• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage

Welcome to the Project Execution Team
You will be part of our Project Execution team located in Copenhagen. The team is responsible for executing marine engine fuel conversion projects and pumping skids from contract signing through design, supervising the assemble works, test and commissioning and finally system delivery to customer and claims handling.

As part of the Warranty Team, you will be reporting to the Department Manager in Project Execution. The team in total is currently counting approx. 22 staff, having undergone significant growth during the last 5 years, which is set to continue with the growing focus on decarbonizing shipping.

As face to the customer, the department takes great pride in being the link from the market to the whole company and seeing projects being accomplished through team work.
