At Candeno, we are seeking an engaged and forward-thinking Head of People & Culture to lead the department, focusing on shaping our growing organisation into a value and culture-driven community. You will ✅
As Head of People & Culture, your role bridges organisational strategy and people development. You will refer to our CEO and work closely with our People & Culture team, encouraging empowerment, shared ownership and accountability through ongoing internal education and communication. You will focus on maintaining a high-spirited workplace with satisfied employees (eNPS) while ensuring we stay ahead with our hiring practices and setting the direction for our Culture and Values. You will also;
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive management team to develop and implement strategic People and Culture initiatives aligned with organisational goals
- Lead recruitment efforts and develop the People Roadmap in close collaboration with senior management
- Conduct satisfaction surveys and drive development activities for both leaders and employees
- Manage the People & Culture department, including personnel management and resource allocation
- Collaborate with the Brand Manager on Employer Branding initiatives
- Plan and facilitate monthly stand-up meetings and other events at Candeno
- Oversee the entire process of pre-, on-, and off-boarding for employees
- Design and manage a career universe for employees
- Provide leadership guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters
You are
We are searching for a candidate who deeply understands and is committed to improving the competencies of our employees and management, pushing the boundaries to expand their capabilities. We are also looking for a candidate with:
- A relevant education or experience in People & Culture or HR, a minimum of three years of experience preferred
- Strong communication skills in Danish and English
- Leadership skills (Experience is a bonus but not essential)
- Innovative approach which can support our ever-growing organisation
- Strategic thinking and ability to work with values and culture
- Executing approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Human-centric approach and openness to build relationships
- Understanding of HR legislation
- Experience working with or in a SaaS company (Experience is a bonus but not essential)
- Opportunity to work from our headquarters in Aarhus 4-5 days per week, as we aim for our Head of People and Culture to maintain a visible presence in the office

Within one month:

Within three months:
- Define short-term goals for P&C
- Identify development areas
- Clear communication with all stakeholders
Within six months:
- Develop long-term strategic plans
- Implement recruitment and retention strategies
- Work on strengthening the company's culture
- Implement effective performance management processes
- Implement employee and leadership development plans
- Define People Roadmap for the next 18 months
