Are you a dynamic, results-driven individual ready to lead Knauf DANOLINE into new frontiers? We're on the lookout for an ambitious fresh-minded Area Sales Manager with a strong "hunter" mindset to expand our sales efforts in Eastern Europe, APAC, and the Americas.

As the Area Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for devising and implementing strategies to boost export sales. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and development. With the freedom to shape business growth and explore untapped opportunities, each day brings a fresh adventure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth:Develop and implement growth strategies in line with the overall Knauf strategy, including channel selection and marketing initiatives, to expand our reach within target markets
  • Account Development: Craft comprehensive account plans based on market insights and customer trends, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Operational Excellence: Execute sales initiatives, monitor opportunities, and manage the sales pipeline effectively, driving continuous improvement in sales performance
  • Channel Management: Oversee all sales channels, digital platforms, and educational activities, providing leadership and support to optimize sales performance
  • Product Positioning:Establish DANOLINE's product portfolio as a key player in Eastern Europe, APAC, and Americas markets, enhancing brand visibility and market penetration

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll join a dedicated team spread across various functions, working collaboratively to achieve targets and drive Knauf DANOLINE's presence in the global market.

About you

  • You have some experience in export sales, preferably within technical product/solution environments, with a good understanding of at least one of the Eastern Europe, APAC, or Americas markets
  • More important than extensive industry or market knowledge is a high curiosity for new markets, products and cultures and an eagerness to learn fast
  • Commercial Acumen: Results-oriented with a strategic yet pragmatic approach to business, consistently delivering on targets and driving revenue growth
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across different cultures and geographies
  • Innovative Thinker: Creative and proactive in identifying new business opportunities, with a high level of curiosity and a willingness to explore new markets and solutions and think outside the box
  • Team Player: Thrive in a collaborative, culturally diverse environment, contributing positively to team dynamics and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement where possibility of developing is many

Fluency in English is required, and willingness to travel is expected. This position can be based in either Hobro or Brøndby in a hybrid set up (home office).
