Assistant Merchandise Planner

We are looking for an Assistant Merchandise Planner for our Commercial Planning team, who enjoys working cross-functionally and developing in a fast paced, transformational environment.

You will be working alongside the Merchandise Planners supporting the range review, range management and range analysis process and working with the Product and Forecasting & Ordering teams.  In addition to this you will have Merchandise Planning responsibilities for a small category to enable you to develop your skills in this area.

You will become part of an international organisation, with a global perspective. Being based at our HQ office in the heart of Copenhagen, you will report directly to the Merchandising Director.

This is the job

• Updating weekly reports and trackers used by the Merchandise Planning Team
• Assesses weekly item product flow and management.
• Creating campaign review preparation analysis to support the development of campaigns.
• Take on role as Merchandise Planner for category/sub-category.
• Creation of monthly reports to update stakeholders on the product assortment.
• Review master data related to Merchandise Planning and work with cross functional teams to correct discrepancies.
• Support in the creation of campaign catalogue materials.

This is you

• A passion for products and a desire for a career in Merchandise Planning.
• Strong analytical and numeric abilities combined with strong attention to details.
• Ability to analyse and work with data.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to ensure key deadlines are achieved.
• Advanced Excel is a must.
• Capable to work with fluent English.
• Degree in related disciplines or educated in the field could be an advantage.
