Perimenopause and menopause represent significant life stages for women, typically occurring between the ages of 45 and 55. With a sizable portion of the female population spending over a third of their lives in these phases, the global demographic shift indicates that by 2030, approximately 1.2 billion women will be navigating this transitional period.
During perimenopause and menopause, a substantial majority of women, ranging from 75% to 85%, encounter a variety of physical and emotional symptoms. These symptoms can range from mild to severe and may include hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, vaginal dryness, sleep disturbances, fatigue, and changes in libido. Moreover, approximately 20-30% of women experience severe symptoms, significantly impacting their daily lives and well-being.
However, despite the prevalence of menopause-related challenges, there are notable obstacles that women face:
1. Limited awareness and education surrounding menopause often result in delayed or inadequate symptom management, leading to a decrease in overall quality of life.
2. The stigma and taboo associated with menopause contribute to feelings of embarrassment, isolation, and mental health issues among women.
3. The controversies surrounding suitable treatments, such as the risks and benefits of hormone replacement therapy, create confusion and uncertainty for women seeking relief.

About the Role:
We're seeking a Commercial Entrepreneur in Residence (Co-Founder) to join us in this transformative journey. You will play a pivotal role in reshaping the Menopause landscape across the Nordics, and essentially, the entire European market.
