Content Marketer (Social Media and Website Manager)

You will be part of our small but tight-knit Marketing team

Hopefully, you know what marketing is – in our department, we do all of that. We own the communication from the first touch, to prospects becoming loyal customers. In most aspects of our work, writing is involved… but we’re no experts That’s why we need you – a professional wordsmith, a virtuoso in the written word, a biotech poet. You get the picture; Someone who can help us define and execute our outward-facing communication. It’s your chance to shape Reshape’s voice in a rapidly changing space.

Equally important about us: we’re a small tight-knit team consisting of 2 ½ people (two full-time and one part-time) as of today, so we’re looking for someone highly collaborative and who can make decisions in uncharted areas, as that is where we are. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to do great, meaningful things while having a good time.

The purpose of the role

As our very first Content hire, you'll lead the development and execution of our content strategy to elevate our brand presence. We find ourselves in a traditionally conservative industry, which means there is plenty of opportunity to stand out. And we need someone who can help us cut through the noise, engage our key audience, and ultimately contribute to our growth.

We’re a startup. Your responsibilities can vary, but will all be impactful. Yes, that can be a bit chaotic at times but we are looking for someone that’s excited by this environment. Your main responsibilities will be centered around content creation, curation, and distribution. In other (and more) words, that means crafting exciting and easy-to-understand stories, identifying and tapping into trending topics, optimizing SEO, and owning our content calendar. That sort of stuff – we’re not the experts, so we’re looking for someone that is!

This is what you will be doing:

• Building and owning Reshape’s brand voice on social media and on the website.

• Owning all organic, social media and website efforts – from linkedin posts, tweets, blog posts, website updates, to embedded campaigns.

• Collaborating across teams to bring brand stories to life.

• Exploring social media and influencer partnerships.

• Reporting on efforts, looking at indicators such as brand perception, follower growth, click and bounce rates, comments and mentions, and customer acquisition.
