We are hiring in SAP Denmark’s Premium Engagement team. Do you want to be part of the SAP family and an amazing journey to the Cloud?

As an Engagement Manager, your role is crucial in managing the day-to-day operations of the SAP Premium Engagement services portfolio for our valued customers. You will be responsible for overseeing their systems, landscape environments, and platforms, while serving as a trusted advisor in co-creating and executing on their digital transformation roadmap with SAP.


What is Premium Engagement?

Premium Engagement (PE) is a strategic advisory service provided by SAP to our largest customers. It focuses on bringing SAP's innovations to life, accelerating the adoption and consumption of SAP Solutions across hybrid and cloud landscapes, and delivering on promises and expected outcomes. As an Engagement Manager, you will play a critical role in driving customer success and the success of the Danish Cloud Success Services organization.

SAP Premium Engagement is designed to help our customers thrive as intelligent enterprises. Through a holistic engagement model, a comprehensive service portfolio, and a full set of value-based services with predictable outcomes, the program helps customers navigate every shift and increase their return on investment.

As part of the SAP Services family, Premium Engagement offers the highest level of on-site engagement available within SAP. This means you will be supporting digital transformations, implementation projects, creating best-run operations, and initiating innovation opportunities within our customers. These are long-term partnerships, spanning multiple years, and provide customers with access to SAP's global teams of experts across product and solution portfolios.

As an Engagement Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding the customer's solution landscape and business processes.
• Acquiring the role of a trusted advisor within the customer organization.
• Creating detailed engagement and service delivery plans and driving their execution.
• Understanding SAP Premium Engagement's services and methodologies.
• Conceptualizing, executing, and tracking projects aligned with our organizational framework.
• Developing a strong network within the customer's organization.
• Coordinating the involvement of SAP Support resources onsite and in the back office.
• Identifying top issues, defining action plans, and driving the resolution process.
• Contributing to expanding and growing the engagements.
• Reporting to management and executive levels.


To succeed in this role, the following skills are required:
• Strong customer engagement skills and developing into a Trusted Advisor within an large, enterprise client
• Service delivery understanding and value-management mindset, with focus on managing PE services delivery as resourcing, staffing, scope, risk, issues and escalation management.
• Understanding an overall enterprise architecture across private cloud, SaaS, and on-premise solutions including integration
• Business acumen and business understanding: ACV (annual contract value) contract renewal, solutioning, procurement, customer retention, managing P&L on contract level
• Working as a core member of a virtual account team and orchestrating cross-account internal governance.
• Analysis of customer situation and requirements, including business requirements, program/project, IT, transformational, architecture, development, infrastructure, and operational topics
• Engagement governance, executive reporting & presentations,
• Facilitation, negotiation, and de-escalation skills
