The Position

In this role, you will act as a trusted VAT advisor to colleagues both in Denmark and abroad by:

• Partnering with the business on current and future projects to find compliant and workable VAT/GST solutions
• Supporting our affiliates in VAT / GST audits
• Staying up-to-date on changes in VAT-regulations and advise the business on how to implement
• Actively engaging in sparring with other VAT colleagues and the rest of Global Tax
• Supporting the Novo Nordisk SAP S/4-journey from a VAT perspective

This position is anchored in the Indirect Tax Team in Corporate Tax department, based out of Novo Nordisk Headquarter in Bagsværd, Denmark.

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

• Master’s degree within tax, business law, economics or similar relevant education
• Proven track record working with VAT in private and/or public sectors and at least 3-5 years of experience
• Excellent knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in English and Danish with strong communication skills and ability to explain complex tax concepts in clear language
• Ability to work in a dynamic international environment and adapt to changing business needs

About the department

In the Novo Nordisk Corporate Tax department we are 20 dedicated employees working in teams within Transfer Pricing, Corporate Tax, Tax Technology and Indirect Taxes. You will be part of the Indirect Tax Team, where you refer to the director of the team.

Further to this, you will be part of the Global Tax organisation encompassing around 75 employees worldwide.
