Financial Controller, Mining

As the Financial Controller for our Mining division, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic Finance team. Embrace the opportunity to contribute to financial reporting and controlling within a newly established entity, as well as actively participate in the implementation of a new global principal model.

Based at our global headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, you will report to the Head of Finance, taking on a strategic role in shaping the financial success and operational efficiency of our dynamic organization.

Your responsibilities

Financial Reporting Ownership:

Take charge of financial reporting for the newly established entity, collaborating closely with our Global Business Support function in India.

Engage in hands-on problem-solving with Global Business Support and the Global FLS Mining Organization spread across 6 continents.

Principal Model Implementation:

Actively participate in implementing and operating the new global principal model.

Collaborate with Global Business Support and FLS Mining Organization for a seamless integration.

Controlling and Forecasting:

Oversee reporting and forecasts in Oracle and HFM, encompassing all traditional finance disciplines.

Hands-on controlling for the 'Sales, General and Administrative' cost area for Danish entities, including FLS Group Functions.

What you bring

Educational Background: Relevant Master’s degree, HD (R), or equivalent international Accounting qualification.

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Communication Skills: Clear communicator of financial matters to non-finance staff.

Technical Proficiency: Good understanding of MS Office, with knowledge of Oracle and HFM as an advantage.

Global Exposure: Experience with multicultural organizations and shared service centers is an advantage.

Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Work Ethic: Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.
