Global Procurement Excellence Director

About the role
As part of the Global ProcurementLeadership Team, you shall have a pivotal role in developing, enhancing, andimplementing procurement processes across our global function. You shall havedirect responsibility for our sustainability strategy, Procurement-2-Pay processes,governance, systems, and all master data, as well as other critical areas thatsupport our functions journey towards delivering our function’s long-termobjectives. You have direct responsibility a team of 3 FTE whilst fosteringrelationships between stakeholders of supporting functions.
Fully accountable for developingprofessionalism and ensuring proper implementation of leading-edge Procurementcapabilities as to become a world class Procurement organization.

Responsibilities
As Global Procurement Excellence Director your main tasks andresponsibilities will be:

- Develop and implement strategies and processes for procurement excellence,focusing on process improvement/standardization, sustainability, and cost management.
-Lead data analysis to identify trends, opportunities for improvement andimplement strategic procurement decisions.
-Develop global P2P standard ensuring efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness.
-Drive governance of procurement activities, with focus on internal policies andexternal regulations.
-Champion the sustainability agenda, ensuring success towards the company’sgoals and science-based targets.
-Oversee implementation of new procurement systems or technologies to enhancefunctional efficiency and become expert on these and their integration/utilization.
-Be the bridge between procurement and other business functions that support ourjourney of excellence.
-Lead, Develop and Empower a Global Teamin line with our cultural ambitions. Ensure effective performancemanagement: set objectives, provide coaching and feedback, and defineindividual performance needs.

About you
To be successful in the role you need:
- Academic degree plusrelevant business experience. We are very open to candidates with a variety of backgroundsas to increase the diversity in the leadership team.
- Strong analytical and process mindset.
- People leadership experience and skills to develop and inspire people in andoutside of your team.
- Strong commitment to ethical procurement and governance standards.
- Experience with Procurement Processes (sourcing and purchasing) inbusiness-to-business context.
- Integral understanding of both direct andindirect spend management within an international/global business.
- 8 Years Procurement professionalexperience at international level, with a proven track record of implementingprocurement strategies at international level.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical capable in various ERP suites and Microsoft packages.
- Knowledge of Sustainable procurement practices and regulations.
- Ability to travel up to 50 days per year globally.
