We are now looking for two new employees to join our Go-to-market talent program starting in August 2024, offering immersive experience working with our iconic brands. Join us and gain practical experience from one of the largest FMCG companies globally!

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Go-to-market talent program spans over 18 months. When joining our Go-to-market talent program, you will be employed as an Account Manager and offered permanent employment with Unilever. The aim of the program is to provide you with the skills to become an independent Account Manager with responsibility for your own customers.

At Unilever, we believe that companies with purpose last, brands with purpose grow, and people with purpose thrive. Throughout the talent program, you will be introduced to tools and tasks that will give you a strong understanding of our Customer Development (sales) organization, as well as unique Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry knowledge. At Unilever, the work pace is high, and the learning curve is steep, so you will quickly be given responsibilities as an Account Manager – and become an integral part of our sales team.

Our commitment to secure a good learning environment is centered around three key areas: learning by experience, learning through people, and formal learning. Besides from an assigned Line Manager, you will be paired with a dedicated Mentor, who will both provide coaching and support throughout the Talent Program. To equip and enhance your skillset, you will participate in different courses, and as a Unilever employee you will also have access to numerous live and recorded online training sessions.

Upon completion of the talent program, you will, among others, have acquired robust customer relationship, sales, and negotiation skills, along with a solid understanding of the Account Manager role. You will then take-on the responsibility as a Junior Key Account Manager for up to 12 months to further prepare you for a transition into another full-time position within Customer Development, or potentially other departments within our organization. This could for example be in the role as Key Account Manager, Category Manager, or Trade Marketing Manager, depending on your career development and aspirations.

  • EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

    To succeed in Unilever, it is important that you possess a curious mindset, can-do mentality, and that you take ownership of tasks. You are willing to step out of your comfort zone, ready for new challenges, and can see yourself working in a dynamic environment. In this position, we put less emphasis on your specific educational background. Although, there are some formal criteria we expect you to meet when joining our Go-to-market talent program:

  • Academic background, preferably master’s degree, alternatively bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field of study
  • Financial and IT literacy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A few years of relevant work experience is seen as a plus ( from a part-time student job)

  • You must have full working proficiency in English, as this is our corporate language. Additionally, since you will be in contact with local customers, full working proficiency in Danish is also a requirement for this role.
