Job Summary: The Director of PCV International Marketing Lead – Adults V116 will be a critical member of the HHI PCV team and play a crucial role in supporting the HHI markets in executing launch efforts and the commercial implementation of the global brand strategy for the pneumococcal adult conjugate vaccine (PCV). This individual will focus on driving extensive acceleration of the adult PCV vaccine franchise across HHI countries and regions, ensuring state-of-the-art launch execution enabling the adult vaccination journey in each key market.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are focused on supporting the key HHI markets and regions in executing upon adult PCV vaccination, paving way for improving the vaccination ecosystem for adults in all market spaces, i.e. tendered, reimbursed and private. The goal of this lead should be to make PCV vaccination of adults as easy as possible, breaking the norms and seasonality vaccination sentiment, acknowledging the importance of pneumococcal disease prevention in adults extending the opportunity working toward cohort expansion.

Market Engagement:

  • Responsible for the development of activation enablement strategy and carry out, collaborating in the Global-Regional-Local market set-up.

  • Support and engage markets to achieve executional excellence in bridging the vaccination ecosystem gaps with tangible activities to simplify the HCP and HCC vaccination journey.

  • Prepare markets for anticipated competition through participation in competitive simulation workshops and implementation of commercial strategies to defend against competition.

  • Contribute franchise insights to achieve country specific goals via V116 disease awareness unbranded/branded campaign activation.

  • Participate in channel mix development for designated target audiences.

Launch Readiness and Execution:

  • Drive standardization of launch plans across key Company markets and regions for PCV adults.

  • Collaborate with key markets and regions to ensure all necessary commercial activities for a successful launch and the full potential of the vaccine are in place and well tracked.

  • Provide support to markets and regions in the roll-out of HCP and HCC directed campaigns.

  • Foster strong alignment across regional and local cross-functional teams to drive uptake of the PCV adult vaccine in partnership with key stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the development of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to track commercial activities and progress towards business aspirations.

Leadership Excellence:

  • Build deep relationships across the enterprise and become a well-respected partner within the vaccines and commercial organization.

  • Collaborate closely with the HHI Vaccines team, global teams, Company stakeholders, and key markets.

  • Embrace new ways of working, including Agile methodologies and collaboration technologies, while integrating analytics into decision making.

  • Exemplify a positive mindset and behaviour and serve as a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree (required), Master's Degree (preferred).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in local, regional, and/or global commercial functions including marketing, product management, or market access.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Demonstrated leadership/management skills across diverse stakeholders, including those without direct reporting relationship.

  • Must understand how HCP and consumer marketing and vaccination delivery systems work.

  • Strategic, innovative thinker with a learning orientation and desire for personal excellence.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to make decisions in uncertain situations.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

  • Ability to analyze and communicate large amounts of data effectively.

  • Proven ability to drive results while maintaining high ethical standards.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Strong collaboration, critical thinking skills (demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and cross-divisionally).

  • Expertise working with launch brands.

  • Expertise using analytics to measure and optimize launch excellence.

  • Experience in regional roles, positively impacting a very diverse set of markets.

  • Creative thinking / problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated; hands-on approach to work.
