Do you have a passion for promoting well-being, inclusivity, and legal compliance within an organization? If you're looking to enhance your skills and contribute to meaningful initiatives in global health, then this internship is for you!

THINK is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of vulnerable communities both locally and globally. Our work encompasses research, health systems strengthening, and capacity building, with a focus on addressing critical health challenges such as infectious diseases, mental health, gender disparities, and building resilient healthcare systems against pandemics and climate change. We collaborate with local communities, government consortia, and international funders to deliver impactful care and innovative solutions that make a difference worldwide.

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated HR intern to join our team and contribute to the development of our internal policies, ensuring a supportive and compliant work environment. You will have the opportunity to lead projects under the guidance of experienced colleagues and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, including GDPR compliance, workplace well-being, menstrual health support, and employee handbooks.

  • Collaborate with legal advisors to ensure all HR policies are in line with local and international regulations.

  • Support the creation of a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Conduct research on best practices in HR and recommend improvements to internal processes.

  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled or graduated in a relevant academic program (Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or related fields).

  • Previous experience in Danish HR, legal compliance, or related areas is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and research skills.

  • A passion for creating a positive work environment and promoting employee well-being.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to work independently.

  • Fluent in English, preference for Danish reading capabilities.

We Offer:

  • A dynamic internship with a steep learning curve and a dedicated mentor to support your development.

  • The opportunity to be part of an organization that values care for people, making a difference, and innovative thinking.

  • Varied working days with a range of tasks and responsibilities.

  • A supportive and knowledgeable team passionate about global health and HR best practices.

  • Access to a broad network of professionals in the non-profit, tech, and healthcare sectors.

  • Flexibility in organizing your workday, with remote work options available.

  • Complimentary lunch, unlimited coffee, and snacks.

  • The possibility to convert your internship project into a thesis, with guidance from your internship manager.

  • Regular feedback sessions for personal and professional growth.

This is a full-time, unpaid internship position, starting 1st of July 2024 and lasting for 2 months. The working hours can be adjusted to accommodate exam periods and other commitments. The internship will be based in our Copenhagen office, and candidates must have the right to undertake an internship in Denmark.

We value equal opportunity and encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply.

Application Process:

Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter in a single PDF, outlining their qualifications and motivation for applying.

We look forward to meeting passionate individuals who share our commitment to creating positive change in the world through innovative HR practices.
