As a Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, security, and environmental programs within the organization. You will collaborate with various departments to establish and maintain a safe and compliant working environment while minimizing risks and promoting a culture of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Policy Development and Implementation:
Develop, implement, and update HSSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, Communicate policies to all levels of the organization and ensure understanding and adherence. 2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace, Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and hazards, Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk control measures. 3. Training and Awareness:
Develop and deliver HSSE training programs for employees, contractors, and other stakeholders, Promote awareness of health, safety, security, and environmental issues throughout the organization. 4. Incident Investigation and Reporting:
Investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes, Prepare and submit accurate and timely incident reports, Implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. 5. Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to health, safety, security, and the environment, Ensure the organization's compliance with applicable regulations. 6. Emergency Preparedness and Response:
Develop and implement emergency response plans, Conduct regular drills and training exercises to ensure effective response to emergencies. 7. Environmental Management:
Monitor and assess environmental impact, Implement initiatives to reduce the organization's environmental footprint. Qualifications:
Professional certifications in HSSE (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP) are highly desirable, Proven experience in a similar HSSE role, preferably in a Contract Logistic Industry, Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, security, and environmental regulations, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Native Polish, fluent English, Ability to travel to other warehouses up to 30% (Gdańsk, Łódź, Wrocław), Driving license B. cat.
