Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • The KAM OTC will be co-responsible for sales for all products assigned to the Sales team within his/her respective territory Copenhagen and North Zealand. Promote and sell generic drugs to all healthcare professionals (pharmacists, wholesalers, economics interest grouping).

  • Communicates and works collectively with the Head of Sales to identify underlying causes of events, issues, or challenges within his/her territory and within the district to develop new strategies to address those challenges.

  • Consistently takes initiative to collaborate and work with individuals within a team, the region and senior leadership including but not limited to other representatives, District Managers, Directors, Marketing and Key accounts.

  • Develop territory level business plans that are focused on quarterly performance goals and establish clear expectations for achieving those goals, as required by the District Manager

  • Create and follow prospection plan. Constantly prospect for new business and accounts, especially new Pharmacist groups and pharmacies and relay information about these accounts and markets promptly to Head of Sales or the Head of Marketing OTC.

  • Analyze sales figures and territory data for assigned district. Interpret findings, draw conclusions, and make written recommendations.

  • Negotiate annual goals of turnover with their local pharmacies and visit all pharmacies twice per year to build action plans to achieve goals.

  • Cover a 13-week customer call cycle and conduct an account review for each customer relating to new and existing products, contract information (if applicable), purchasing history and provide assistance and product information as necessary.

  • Maintain updated customer account profiles and client tracking information in Veeva CRM

  • Monitor customer usage to determine growth and/or decrease in purchasing patterns.

  • Ensure the desired call rate and field days required by Viatris for the entire sales team (and themselves) in the designated district.

  • Gather insight from multiple sources (customers, market trends, internal stakeholders, etc.) about the opportunities, challenges, and market dynamics on all generic’s products. 

  • Responsible for accurately and efficiently completing and submitting all required paperwork and performing laptop responsibilities according to established procedures. (E.g., expense reports, supply requests, account profiles, etc.).

  • The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Individual that is dedicated and proactive in relation to your tasks, customers and the company.

  • Able to contribute with positive energy and an energetic approach to customers and colleagues.

  • Good communication skills, dare to approach customers and know how to listen, and not least you are service-minded and possess a high degree of optimism, with an approach where challenges are there to be solved.

  • Flexible and can work independently – but are still a team player who works well to help and spar with his colleagues.

  • Good and safe relation-creating salesperson who, in cooperation with the customer, finds the right solutions that cover the customer's needs and takes pride in the fact that they return again and again.

  • Credible, proactive, and responsible and can dispose of your own time in your own district.

  • Have a driver's license and live in the district.
