The position
As our MI Tech Lead, you will be pushing the bar on technical deliveries and ensuring operational excellence in the delivery team while assisting the developers with technical development and enable and easing the collaboration between business and technical teams.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing product and technology architecture in the department.
• Navigating through multiple technology domains.
• Coaching developers in the technology domains to identify areas of improvement, on a technical as well as personal level.
• Delegating responsibilities to team members.
• Continuously investigating and implementing new technologies and work methodologies.
• Bridging the gap between business and technical stakeholder.
• Taking responsibility for the technical delivery.
In Manufacturing Intelligence, your role will be vital for our continued success in delivering digital solutions to our production. You will significantly influence tech stack decisions and technical deliveries, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should:
• Hold a Bachelor or M.Sc. degree within a relevant field.
• Have at least 4-5 years of relevant working experience within the field of Software/Modelling. Alternatively, you have extensive prior experience from the MI and/or the software development field.
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of AWS, Python, TypeScript and have written production level code.
• Be familiar with working in an agile DevOps Setup which is an added advantage.
• Experience working with TDD or BDD is a plus.
• Ability to navigate and convey regulatory rules and guidelines into technical requirements.
• Exhibit a service-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently when necessary.

You approach tasks with structure, energy, curiosity and a positive attitude. You are expected to be self-directed, but also collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders. About the department
The position is anchored in the Manufacturing Tech & Innovation department within Emerging Technologies, whose key mission is to redefine our manufacturing approach by creating a fully data driven and continuous process for oral tablet formulation and optimise the manufacturing production and analysis from end to end. We aim to create a new paradigm that will alter the approach to drug development by redesigning and digitalising the processes.
The Manufacturing Intelligence team consist of 25 highly skilled colleagues with different scientific backgrounds ranging from Product Managers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Front-end developers, and UX/UI designers. With the rapid advancement within data and analytics, we are expanding our team and bringing in new competences and skills. Our ambition is to be the frontier, use the latest techniques and software to draw greater insights and future predictions from the data and thus making a significant impact on how we manage the future manufacturing operation.
