Are you able to combine your development lifecycle understanding with a solid technical toolbox and translate it into implementation of features of a development platform supporting our ML/AI agile product team in building viable solutions?

As a Platform Engineer, ML-Ops and AI, you will play a central role in JYSK’s strategic ambition of leveraging Machine Learning and AI for both developing and running our business efficiently. Specifically, you will play a central role in our agile product team building the solutions, together with 5 highly skilled data scientists and data analysts. Building on your existing strong technical background you will develop your skills even further every day through sparring and collaborating with you near team and other colleagues throughout JYSK IT, counting 100+ skilled developers within SAP, Java, Web, Integration and just now also building up knowledge on the hasty evolving Cloud technologies.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
As a Platform Engineer you will actively help the agile scrum team by providing a platform allowing for efficient development through a “minimum viable products” mindset. You will proactively initiate and facilitate feature designs sessions and participate as developer building solutions within the space of ML and AI.

The Platform Engineer, ML-Ops & AI has the lead in building the platform for ML & AI development and ML-Ops. This includes topics, such as

Design and implement our cloud ML & AI infrastructure in close collaboration with other platform engineers in JYSK to ensure standardisation and efficiency across the whole JYSK IT platform

Design and implement CI/CD pipelining infrastructure in relation to ML/AI Development

Design and implement support for running ML-models in a Kubernetes infrastructure

Design and implement a concept for ML Model Performance monitoring including creating new metrics and dashboards

Develop/identify solutions for automatic model training and retraining

Assist security team with implementing security best practices throughout our infrastructure while maintaining usability for developers

Setting direction, guiding colleagues, and facilitating platform usage

Assist in troubleshooting platform as well as solution issues

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:

Is an expert or wants to become an expert in ML-Ops practices

Has proven experience in developing and operating, monitoring, and training AI/ML models at a scale

Has a strong knowledge in ML & AI development tools and services, eg. R, Python, ML Flow, Google Vertex AI services

Works independently on highly complex tasks ensuring right involvement of stakeholders

Is able and willing to mentor and teach others

Cares about your work and takes pride in delivering high quality

Is able to manage own time

It would be an advantage with prior experience from IT landscapes including SAP ECC/BW/HANA.
