The Position
As a PLC Engineer your main tasks will be:
ensure daily operations of our PLC and SCADA systems, together with your skilled colleagues
from managing Life Cycle of the existing PLC installations to implementing new systems
data analysis and problem solving will be an important part of your daily work
in addition, you will coordinate minor automation projects, and you will act as technical specialist and be responsible for the PLC in major cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications :
A relevant academic education or similar background with hands-on experience within PLC systems
Discipline within planning, task execution and documentation
A structured and analytical approach to challenges as well as a strong quality mindset
Thrive in both small daily support tasks and more complex and time-consuming tasks
A positive and proactive approach
It would be an advantage if you are also:
Acquainted with Siemens-PLC, WinCC and IFIX-SCADA
Know about the pharmaceutical industry, including the associated documentation and compliance requirements and ITIL principals
Have a collaborative mindset both across and at different organizational levels.
About the Department
The IT & Automation team is a dynamic and collaborative team based in Kalundborg. The team consists of 14 skilled and committed employees and is part of the Business Support department with approximately 60 employees. The IT & automation team operates, maintains and optimizes the IT & Automation systems in M1 to meet both production needs and compliance requirements.
