Project Controller for Expansion Project

The Position

As our new Project Controller, you will be responsible for managing financials within direct project execution.
Your day-to-day areas of responsibility will include:

• Developing, creating, monitoring, and executing cost controls.
• Cost management, scheduling, project resources, progress reports and forecasting.
• Supplementing your business/finance/accounting knowledge with broad technical knowledge within pharmaceutical production, which will help you in your daily work.
• Building a broad network within the project, with regular contact with many different areas of the business to govern solutions within the projects.
• Utilising your finance partnering skills to create transparency with the stakeholders.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

• An academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar.

• Experience in executing step-by-step cost controlling.
• Experience in creating and forecasting project budgets/cost.
• Previous experience from working in a GMP regulated industry is an advantage.
• Full proficiency in written and spoken English.

As a professional, you are curious to learn and attentive to details. You feel comfortable working independently across a broad stakeholder landscape and your structured approach allows you to maintain a broad overview while keeping an eye for the details. You have flair for translating complex issues into communication easily absorbed by upper management.

About the department

Our team is working to expand the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk – and when finished the facility will employ app. 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.
