How to contribute to our vision
We are looking for a self-driven project manager to support our Building Solutions & Standards team.
The Building Solutions & Standards team is responsible for the construction of all the major buildings within the company, from new build to building extensions
Your responsibilities within the Building Solutions & Standards will include:
Managing the project team, including but not limited to designers, architects, HSE, site project managers
Proactively manage and be responsible for the project execution in accordance with timeline, costs, risks, safety and quality.
Supporting the pre-construction activities of the project: scope definition, project setup and strategy, design, permitting, tendering and construction start.
Managing the construction activities of the project: General Contractor contract and claim management, HSE, handover to operations.
Hire and manage the activities of several subcontractors: designer, project management company, general contractor or built-to-suit developer.
Lead the interface towards the land owner or lessor, and local authorities for all permitting and construction topics.
Prepare and present regular reporting to SGRE management.
What you need to make a difference
The ideal candidate has master’s degree in construction engineering, civil engineering, MEP engineering, architecture or similar. Furthermore, you have proven experience within project management.
To succeed in this role you:
Have at least 3 years of work experience in project management in the context of construction projects of industrial facilities
Have a strong understanding of the main CAPEX drivers in the design and construction of industrial facilities
Are PM certified (e.g. PMP, IPMA or equivalent)
Experience in manufacturing or the wind turbine business is a plus
Have a strong experience in construction contract management, for example Fidic red and/or yellow book or equivalent
Are structured, target-driven, and work solution-oriented and problem-solving manner, in order to deliver projects on time, quality and budget
Are used to work in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project), ideally Autocad
Are very fluent (verbally and written) in Danish and English, e.g. able to negotiate and review contacts. Another language (e.g. Spanish or German) is a plus
Show great leadership, strong communication and cooperation skills in a complex and diverse project environment
Are able to convince, negotiate, motivate and steer project teams
Have experience from working in international and multicultural corporate environments
Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. You have a high professional competency, and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills, and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
