About the department
The Future User Experience team is part of the Delivery Solutions Innovation (DSI) area within Novo Nordisk Devices & Delivery Solutions. Our team is responsible for developing human-centered solutions for medical self-treatment across all business areas of Novo Nordisk. Located in our design studio in Hillerød, just north of Copenhagen, our team consists of talented researchers, designers, and technologists who are empowered to bring human-first solutions into our innovation portfolio. The Position
As our new Senior Concept Designer, you will join a cross-disciplinary team responsible for imagining and qualifying future innovation opportunities within drug delivery. You will be working closely with partners from across the organization and be encouraged to disrupt the current standard of care with well-considered proposals. The role is located in our design studio in Hillerød (just north of Copenhagen).

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Generate product (physical and digital) and service concepts for early evaluation with end users
• Envision concept scenarios for communication, alignment, and evaluation
• Drive concept maturation through independent and collaborative concept development
• Identify opportunity areas through skilled analysis of primary and secondary research sources
• Explore and map patient journeys across various therapeutic areas
• Plan and facilitate design sprints and workshops with various stakeholders
• Participate in exploratory user research activities

Qualifications

We have no formal educational requirements but applicants would typically have a design education (industrial design, service design, product design ect.) combined with relevant work experience. 

• 8+ years of experience working as a designer within in-house or consultancy design teams.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to drive concept generation activities and deliver meaningful experience proposals
• A well-rounded toolbox for exploring and developing concepts, including excellent visual communication skills, hand sketching and 2D illustration, digital prototyping, 3D modeling, physical model-making, and storyboarding
• A proven track record of insight-led concept generation and development
• The ability to frame (and reframe) problems and opportunities for varied collaborators
• An ability to engage stakeholders through compelling and well-considered storytelling
• Demonstrable experience planning and facilitating concept generation workshops and creative sessions
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

You have excellent story-telling abilities – both verbally and visually – and you are motivated by the very early (sometimes not fully defined) stages of innovation. You understand the value design and UX bring to product development, and the importance of well-executed user research.
