Senior Engineering Manager for QC Module

The position

The Senior Engineering Manager will be part of a newly established department with Quality Control specialists responsible for designing and establishing the standard QC module within the FFEx scope. We are looking for someone with extensive engineering experience ideally from QC capacity expansion projects, who can take the lead. Although the role will be situated in Copenhagen Area, Denmark, it will integrate with the project teams at our site projects currently in Denmark, France, Brazil, and the US. Key responsibilities include: Define user requirement specification (URS) and design for facilities, HVAC, utilities and waste in the QC laboratories in collaboration with our key stakeholders including engineering counterparts in Aseptic Production, Finished Production and Intralogistics Identify interfaces and coordinate design activities with other work packages in FFEx future standards to ensure a QC Module that fits into the FFEx standard design Close collaboration with the Quality Planning area to ensure coordinated Science & Risk based qualification planning Plan, execute, and coordinate project activities Qualifications To succeed in this department, you should: Have a relevant academic education, such as mechanical, chemical, process, building engineering or equivalent Have a minimum 7 years of relevant experience preferably within Pharma or Biotech Be experienced in the design and/or establishment of new facilities. Ideally QC but this is not a requirement Be an experienced project manager of technical and/or complex projects Have a drive to challenge the status quo supported with data, while making decisions to move forward with a strong quality mindset The ideal candidate for these roles should be able to communicate clearly and distinctly in English, both in written and spoken form. The candidate should be known for their excellent collaboration skills and have a purposeful, determined approach to taking the lead on tasks. Additionally, the ideal candidates enjoy new challenges and be eager to learn new things. About the department The QC module department in Future standards, Fill & Finished Expansion at Novo Nordisk is a newly established department responsible for designing and establishing the QC module as the future standard in all Fill & Finished expansion projects to ensure delivery of Novo Nordisk products to more patients. The department will be staffed with highly qualified senior project managers and professionals who is there to design the QC module ready for innovative and efficient quality control processes. You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT), which globally employs approximately 20, employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology.
