Your role

As a Senior Sales Executive at Digital Realty, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, with a strong focus on landing and expanding existing large enterprise customers across our global platform. Having access to a global platform gives you and your customers limitless opportunities for business potential allowing autonomy and a global account manager status. You will work closely with local partners and prospects to generate net new business sales and opportunistic business within the boundaries of the local Sales plan. Experience handling large global enterprise customers is essential. You should have a track record of working with an international and multifunctional organization involving multiple teams in each deal.

What you´ll do: 

  • Initiate, create, and execute the new business sales strategy and annual plans aimed at prospective and existing accounts.
  • Proactively create and build relationships with decision-makers up to C-suite level at prospective and existing customers.
  • Actively create business opportunities, attend appropriate local industry events, and increase awareness of Digital Realty’s value proposition.
  • Identify, qualify, pursue, negotiate, and profitably close net new business.
  • Achieve new bookings target.
  • Further develop Nordic HQ:ed accounts and prospects for global opportunities and export sales.
  • Handle large ticket sales opportunities from RFI to acquisition.
  • What you’ll need

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an Enterprise/Global selling position, preferably in IT Services/data center/telco/network environment.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent in English and Danish.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Deep understanding of Enterprise sales motions and the local Data Center industry.
  • Advanced negotiation skills, high contract closing ability.
  • Excellent solution/consultative selling skills, proven ability to articulate clear value propositions.
  • It’s a bonus if you have:

  • An academic degree in a commercial area or similar industry-specific education. 
  • Experience with MEDPPIC or similar.
