About the project
The Capitol Region of Denmark’s Centre for Real Estate is building New Hospital Bispebjerg. It is financed by 2.95 billion DKK from Kvalitetsfonden (PL 2009). New Hospital Bispebjerg consists of several separate projects, of which the Main Hospital Building, of approx. 75,500 m2, is the largest.

The Capitol Region of Denmark is currently investing 20 billion DKK in hospital construction, of which 9 billion DKK comes from The State’s Kvalitetsfond. The projects will create contemporary and functional frameworks for the best possible treatment, with focus on the patients.

Core responsibilities
The Site supervisor will support the Project Management Team with the following tasks:

• Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials and equipment to ensure they are available when needed and stored securely when not in use.

• Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to understand the project schedule and logistics requirements.

• Develop and implement logistics plans that align with the construction schedule, including just-in-time delivery schedules to minimize on-site storage needs.

• Manage the movement of materials and equipment within the site, ensuring that safety and efficiency are prioritized.

• Coordinate with suppliers and transport companies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.

• Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as necessary to avoid shortages or excesses.

• Implement and oversee waste management plans, including the segregation, removal, and recycling or disposal of construction waste.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines related to logistics activities.

• Address and resolve any logistics-related issues or delays that may impact the construction schedule.

• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including material receipts, equipment usage, and waste management.

• Ensure that the deliveries are not interrupting the hospital logistics or disturbing emergency roads.

About you
We are looking for a Site Supervisor for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health). We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:

• 4 - 8 years of experience in construction site logistics on a live campus environment
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and processes.
• Knowledge of construction site safety and environmental regulations in Denmark.
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing circumstances on a construction site.
• Education in logistics, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
• Good level of English, the role requires reading/writing technical reports in English and the verbal communication will be in English.
• Collaboration and communication skills in an international project environment
• Experience with hospital/ pharmaceutical/laboratory projects is a plus.

Salary and conditions for employment
The salary and conditions for the employment will be according to current trade agreements, with the possibility for negotiating supplements for qualifications.

The workplace is located at Bispebjerg Hospital, Bispebjerg Bakke, 2400 Copenhagen NV.

Working hours are 37 hours per week
