Video & SoMe Creator for Thomas Dambo

International recycle artist Thomas Dambo is looking for a person to make awesome videos and other great content for social media. You must master the (American) English language like a native speaker. 

Thomas Dambo designs and builds giant sculptures made out of recycled materials all over the world. He also does a lot of other crazy things including restoration and forestation of the farming estate where his workshop is located, publishing books and doing occasional events and talks. 

We are around 22 employees with different nationalities and professional backgrounds. Recycling is at the heart of everything we do and we are on a journey towards a fully circular practice and a CO2 neutral business. 

We do most of our communication on SoMe (Youtube, Facebook, Instagram) and on our newly redesigned website www.thomasdambo.com

The right candidate will become the main editor and content producer for Thomas Dambo’s social media making video A-Z, writing copy, taking/selecting photos and scheduling posts. You will be collaborating with other employees who do press, concept development, design, photography, etc. and who can support you in your work.

Thomas has recently started the weekly vlog Trash Talk on Youtube and videos are an increasingly important part of the content, so it is important that you are confident and experienced in video production for social media or similar. You must be a native English speaker and if you also know Danish, it will make your work a lot easier! 

Your main workplace will be at Thomas Dambo’s workshop in Gadstrup (DK), but you should also be prepared to do a lot of collaboration online as well as traveling with Thomas.

A great part of the job will include hanging out with Thomas interpreting his ideas and then shaping them into engaging pieces of communication for social media. Qualified candidates will be asked to do a video based on a short interview with Thomas as part of the evaluation process.
