We are currently scaling the tribe to support our journey to modernize our tech stack in Danske Bank and looking for an IT Chapter Lead to be the foundation of this journey. As an IT Chapter Lead, you will be HR responsible for several developers – primarily located in Denmark. Additionally, you will be a full-fledged member of a high priority development team (Squad).
The role of IT Chapter Lead is a playing coach which combines hands-on development tasks as well as supervising and inspiring your chapter members to grow and improve.
Define best practice and lead a skilled team
You will be the HR manager for a group of skilled software engineers; being accountable for them growing both on a professional and on a personal level. This includes classical HR responsibilities, performance reviews, trainings, and recruitment activities.
While you are part of one of the teams (Squads) in the Risk & Compliance tribe and delivering towards sprint goals together with your colleagues, you will - together with other Chapter Leads and Product Owners - participate in a Leadership Team in the Tribe, focusing on creating an encouraging and collaborative environment through inclusive and empowering leadership.
You will define best practice engineering guidelines in both your Chapter and in Guilds that spans several chapters, and work closely together with the IT Tribe Lead, Chapter Area Lead, Product Owners and the other IT Chapter Leads while also participating as a full fledge member of a development team.
Furthermore, you will utilizing various Software Engineering practices (could be CI/CD, DevOps, Test automation practices and AWS).
