The job

As Engineering Manager for Logpoint SaaS you will lead the core team of talented engineers who are building and operating the foundation of Logpoint’s cloud data platform. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will be part of the engineering management team and help shape the future composition, culture, and practices of our technology hub in the heart of Copenhagen.

Your main tasks and responsibilites will be to:

Grow and develop a team of top engineering talent to deliver on our platform strategy.

Own engineering as a discipline and the quality of the delivered solutions in your area – working closely with the technical leads.

Directly influence the product and technology roadmap and oversee the delivery.

Partner and work collaboratively with Product and Project Management to ensure full alignment and execution on the strategic direction.

Promote an open culture of learning, innovation, ownership, collaboration, feedback, inclusion and psycological safety.

Professional qualifications

The ideal candidate is expected to have a technical education at BA or MA level, but relevant experience from a similar role is more important. The key things we look for include:

Several years of experience leading and building high-performing engineering teams.

A track record of successfully leading development on large mission critical projects.

Hands-on experience with of Java, Scala, Python, cloud services, data streaming, container orchestration, distributed data stores and query engines.

Experience designing, building, and operating complex, distributed, highly available, data intensive and scalable systems.

Familiarity with all aspects of modern web application development.

Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, DevOps, and the fundamental values of the agile approach.
