CMC Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture, and distribute drug candidates for all Novo Nordisk non-clinical and clinical trials.

The Position

As Operational Planner your main responsibilities will cover handling the packaging planning for packing trial products for all Novo Nordisk clinical trials. You have a key role, keeping the overview in the supply chain with a lot of collaborations with our stakeholders within the chain.

Your key responsibilities is to be able to balance production capacity and meet deadlines/timelines. Your daily tasks consist of using our planning tools to make the best packaging plan, levelling our forecast on a short-term basis, support your colleagues within the supply chain and participate in planning meetings with our colleagues from our sister departments.

We have a strong focus on LEAN, and a part of your job is to be curious on how we can work smarter and update our processes, and you will participate in several projects within the chain on an ongoing basis.

As a person, three keywords to succeed in this position would be: analytical, structured, and being service minded.

In this role you can strengthen your supply chain toolbox, use your project management skills, as well as gain a deep understanding of and strategic insights in CMC, Novo Nordisk.

Qualifications

You hold a master’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent.

Ideally, you have experience within the field. However, we also welcome applications from newly educated candidates.

• Have are structured and strong analytical skill set with a natural ability of using data in a supply chain context.

We expect that you are fluent in both Danish and English. 

About the Department

The open position is within the department Supply Chain Planning in Clinical Supplies, which consist of five teams supporting the execution of clinical trials by forecasting/monitoring product demand, ordering product etc., planning the packaging/shipping of Trial Products and 3) supporting the overall trial conduct at the Clinical Sites with a focus on Trial Product related processes and systems. Your responsibility will be the financial tasks and projects within the chain.

Clinical Supplies (CS) is a part of CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control) Development & Scaling, and we play a vital role in bringing new drugs to market. In CS we have a unique understanding of the combination of drug development and supply chain management. Our main task is to ensure that trial products are available on time and in the right quality and quantity for all patients in our clinical trials here at Novo Nordisk. Transparency and in-depth analysis of cost-management as well as the ability to provide information needed to ensure informed decision making is critical to us. We are responsible for the overall planning of the production, packaging, and distribution of products for all Novo Nordisk clinical trials worldwide.
