Product Owner

At Lobyco, we empower retailers with digital loyalty solutions that drive engagement and store traffic. We’re a fast-growing scale-up, passionate about providing cutting-edge solutions to our retail clients, and we are now looking for a Product Owner that can help us grow even further. 
 
As Product Owner of the Loyalty Domain you will play a central role in the development and success of our loyalty products (sustainable loyalty and long term benefits, points/bonus ecosystem and tiered loyalty). You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch, and scale-up, ensuring our products meet market needs and fulfill customer expectations together with an excellent skilled product team.  

What you will be doing:  

• Contribute to the product vision and strategy for the Domain and our Loyalty solutions, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and market trends. 
• Collaborate closely with business strategy, sales, and marketing to develop strategies for promoting and growing the product line. 
• Create strong relationships with our customers: gather pain points and desires, propose solutions and refine requirements, negotiate priorities, and align road maps. 
• Conduct market research to identify trends and quickly validate ideas and enhancements together with the product team through prototyping and data-driven decisions. 
• Keep a good balance between user value, usability, and business viability. Build products that customers love to use, while these products also work for the business. 
• Look out for synergies with other Lobyco products that could enhance the user experience and grow the solution. 
• Work closely with the product team to refine product features, decide priorities, and clarify business scope. 
• Oversee the development and delivery, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to existing and new customers and markets. 
• Develop and maintain product documentation, roadmaps, features, and user guides. 

 
Experience to succeed in this role: 

• Experience in product ownership and/or management 
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Be able to build strong relationships while negotiating priorities and scope and sometimes having to say ‘no’ without hindering the relationship with the customer. 
• Experience being part of a cross-functional team, while collaborating with various internal departments, and external partners. 
• Outcome-oriented mindset to break down complex features, prioritize smaller increments and deliver the best possible result within the available time and with available resources. 
• Analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.  
• General technical expertise to allow collaboration with the engineering team and ensure the product meets end-user and business expectations.
