Behind the Job Title
As Release Train Engineer, you will lead an Agile Release Train (ART) of 150+ specialists within Global Operations (GITO). The ART delivers critical components as Network, Security, CITRIX, and Active Directory to the Novo Nordisk Production sites. You will be dedicated to the Production Infrastructure (GITO-PI) area. The area has highly skilled and dedicated specialists, project managers, product owners and scrum masters who all support the infrastructure delivered to existing Novo Nordisk production sites but also plays a big role in the continued expansion of Novo Nordisk production capacity projects. You will be reporting to Business Owner (VP) of GITO Production Infrastructure.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Driving the agile maturity in a pragmatic way including facilitating and executing PI planning
• Optimizing the agile way we work by leading the Scrum Master Forum for GITO Production Infrastructure and being part of the ART Leadership Group
• Driving strategic initiatives for the area
• Facilitating workshops and define demands
• Guiding Scrum Masters in agile delivery conduct
The skills we hope to see
To be a strong candidate for this position, you will possess many to most of following:
• Degree is in relevant field and/or at least 5 years of experience as RTE, IT Program Manager, Scrum Master or similar positions in an agile environment
• Experience in creating a great framework for the ARTs, and have a well-structured, process-mindset
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure preferably within production infrastructure
• A strong agile mind-set, certification in SAFe considered as a plus
