About the role

As the SalesManager Medical Nutrition, you will be reporting to the Sales Director Special Nutrition, Europe. Responsible for selling lipid solutions to customers mainlyin the Medical Nutrition segment. You will be expected to work closely with ourSpecial Nutrition Go-To-Market team, including, customer innovation managers,customer support and Commercial product management. You will be planning,directing, and monitoring strategic activities, as well as executing customerplans in line with the Special Nutrition Europe strategy.

Your knowledge and leadership will play a vital role in developing our Business area, Medical Nutrition at AAK.


Responsibilities

As Sales Manager MedicalNutrition your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

- Collaborating with the Go-To-Market team to develop the MedicalNutrition business area.
- Develop and execute account plans for assignedand new customers.
-Manage all aspects of the selling process.
- Establish and overseesales budget.
- Collaborating with theAAK Swedish Good Manufacturing Practices team to address client issues andchange control projects.
- Coordinating withrelevant internal cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs areeffectively addressed.
- Ensure close dialoguewith AAK Sourcing & Trading and Production planning to develop contingencyplans for raw materials.
- Internal coordinationregarding Swedish Medical Agency and customer requested plant-audits.
- Close dialog withdemand planning and production to optimize operation efficiency.
- Build customer projectpipeline in collaboration with the Go-To-Market team to support growth, withthe responsibility to ensure progress:
- Develop new customers toachieve growth ambitions.
- Gather and reportmarket information to key stakeholders. 
- Build strong customer relationships.
 
About you

To be successful in therole you need:

- Experience with medical nutrition.
- A degree in Nutrition, Pharma, Microbiology, Food, Life Science, or equivalent.
- Sales experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, from similar businesses.
- Knowledge of EU Good Manufacturing Practice and the regulations that govern it.
- Commercial or technical experience from companies within pharmaceuticals, medical nutrition ingredients or alike, is valued.
- Ability to conclude and secure business contracts and experience in negotiating agreements.
- Solution oriented with an innovative mindset.
- Good ability to work cross functional.
- Promote AAK purpose, vision, culture, and operating principals.
- Fluent in writing and spoken English, having some knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
