We are seeking a visionary and communicative leader who is passionate about Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) from a business perspective to drive our PLM strategy forward and lead our team in digital integration efforts. In close cooperation with internal key stakeholders you will build a team of specialists within PLM, software development and production cost modelling to support product development and after-sales business across the entire product lifecycle.

You will:

• Lead a team of specialists in PLM, software development, and production cost modelling.
• Manage the interests of internal stakeholders and align closely with Engineering Architecture & Services and IT departments.
• Contribute to the implementation of our PLM strategy and establish mechanisms to capture and document product knowledge throughout the engine lifecycle.
• Drive the digital connection of cross-functional product development processes and the development of digital process support of our serial marking system (TRUST).

We imagine that you have:

• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams or projects.
• Industry experience in digital twin and digital thread implementation.
• Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital traceability.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Degree in engineering or equivalent field.

You will join the Lifecycle Processes and digital Applications department within the functional area Engine Lifecycle Management. We are a part of a unified Engineering Two-Stroke organisation with the clear ambition to reflect our role as the crankshaft of the MAN ES Engine lifecycle, responsible for the overall end-to-end processes covering the full engine lifecycle. Together with our colleagues within the functional area, we also ensure production process validation and quality in the supply chain as well as safe and compliant market introduction of marine products through an efficient approval process. We are collaborating with a wide range of departments within Engineering, R&D and our after-sales organization PrimeServ.
