We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Head of IT to lead and drive our IT operations. As the Head of IT, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT function, from day-to-day operations to long-term technology strategy.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our technology infrastructure and aligning IT with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, providing hands-on guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Infrastructure Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems, to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. Service Delivery: Ensure timely and effective delivery of IT services and support to internal stakeholders, addressing technical issues, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions to minimize disruptions. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate third-party solutions to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Security and Compliance: Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity measures and compliance standards to protect sensitive data, ensure regulatory adherence, and mitigate potential risks. Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, allocating resources effectively to support current operations and strategic initiatives while optimizing costs. Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to IT projects, ensuring effective communication, training, and support for employees as new technologies and processes are implemented. Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of IT operations and initiatives, presenting reports to the executive team. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the IT department and across the organization. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally with departments and business units to understand their technology needs, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with IT strategies. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Progressive experience in IT management, with a track record of successfully leading operational teams and strategic initiatives. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and cybersecurity best practices. Proven experience in managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT strategies that drive business growth and innovation. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. Project management expertise, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
