Do you master HTML, JavaScript and CSS? Are you motivated by the prospect of joining a vibrant and highly social team, where you will work with the development of a B2B sales website for Denmark’s most popular accounting software? Then we might have a desk in e-conomic with your name on it!

We are looking for our next awesome colleague in our talented Traffic & Conversion team that includes a UXer, a SEO specialist, a digital editor, two paid media specialists and two skilled web developers with 30+ years of combined experience. Together we have a common goal of converting visitors into customers on https://www.e-conomic.dk/ and ensuring that our website and blog are constantly optimised in terms of speed, uptime and security.

We hope that you are excited by the thought of joining our team on this mission and help us build a best in class sales website with a rock solid technical foundation.

Ideally, we hope to find a new teammate, who can work onsite at our office in Carlsberg Byen, Copenhagen, but we fully acknowledge the importance of flexibility and the ability to work remotely.


    As our new web developer you will

    Primarily be working on our main domain https://www.e-conomic.dk/ (Drupal 10 CMS) with the following responsibilities and projects:

    • Developing, implementing and maintaining worked through, well tested and responsive features and components

    • Managing and monitoring successful deployments to the production environment

    • Controlling and maintaining the technical infrastructure on areas like server setup, operations and security in close collaboration with our other developers

    • Continuously monitoring and optimising performance on areas like load speed to ensure seamless navigation and engagement.

    • Being a point of contact on web development and support our digital sales efforts by handling ad hoc technical tasks and requests, such as adjusting the UI of pages,, setting up 301 redirects or creating a cron job that cleans up old webform submissions

    • Collaborating with our SEO specialist and develop with a SEO mindset to make sure that we are performing according to best practices on technical SEO

    • Sharing responsibility of keeping our platforms secure and operational at all times

      We are looking for

      A self-reliant person, who can solve most tasks independently and is motivated by joining a team, where the developers are regarded as important and active contributors to the collective marketing effort. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who:

      • Has experience and/or interest in working with Drupal CMS

      • Has minimum 2 years of working experience building templates and modules for websites using HTML, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript (vanilla and jQuery)

      • Has experience working with PHP, MySQL and Git/github

      • Is quality conscious while still approaching tasks with a pragmatic mindset to best reach the given deadlines (working with “MVPs” when necessary)

      • Is a teamplayer, who proactively looks to share the workload, contributes to a good energy in the team and has a positive frame of mind when collaborating with colleagues

      • Speaks and writes English fluently

      • Drupal 7 and 10 (current CMS of https://www.e-conomic.dk/)

      • WordPress (current CMS of https://blog.e-conomic.dk/)

      • Spinnaker (for continuous integration and deployment)

      • GitHub Action (for continuous integration and deployment)

      • Selenium (for automated testing)

      • Atlassian (Jira and Confluence)

      • Google (primarily Analytics, Tag Manager and Ads)
