Are you passionate about driving sustainability and would you like to work in close collaboration with our commercial teams and IT to succeed in also commercializing our efforts? Then you could be our new Business Development Manager to join our team and play a key role in our transformation towards a more sustainable future.

In this role, you will take lead to drive strategic business development projects to accelerate Arla’s sustainability journey. Your initial focus will be on digital solutions aimed at enabling commercialization with our commercial teams in the markets to support our farmers owners sustainability efforts on farm. The role is located at our HQ in Viby and you will be part of the Sustainability Development team.

How will you have an impact

You will take a central role in driving key sustainability projects towards our commercial teams and customers and in supporting the delivery of Arla’s Digital Farm big bet. You will get to collaborate with a broad group of stakeholders across the Arla organization – including leadership team members, market teams, and IT specialists – and identify how we can support our commercial teams across markets to accelerate a joint sustainability journey.

Be business lead on the digital commercial solution, from development, alignment and implementation

Drive workstreams, ensuring timely delivery while managing time, scope, and quality.

Manage workstream members and stakeholders, fostering efficient communication.

Support progress reporting and stakeholder management

Plan and manage tasks to achieve specified objectives.

Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively mitigate them.

Organize and facilitate workshops, research, and similar activities.

Provide feedback and share key learnings and observations.

The role requires strong analytical skills as well as collaboration, coordination and management.

How will you be successful

You hold a Master’s degree within business or an equivalent discipline, and you have a few years of experience from a project manager role, preferably from a global company or a consultancy. Experience in driving digital product development projects related to sustainability is a big plus, but not a must.

Furthermore, you are:

Motivating and driving project lead with strong stakeholder engagement skills, with an interest in IT/digital solutions.

Structured, action-oriented, and able to analyze complex matters

Inquisitive and swift in acquiring sufficient content and context understanding to build recommendations with the business

Excellent collaboration skills and a passion for working with colleagues.

Thrive in a busy environment with varying tasks.

Interested in organization, business, and people.

Have the ability to build strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders.

You speak and write English fluently.
