We are seeking a passionate, collaborative and skilled leader to join us in driving our efforts towards a carbon-neutral future as Manager of Warranty Cost and Product Safety.

You will:

• Lead a team of specialists in warranty cost handling, technical risk assessment, and product safety.
• Ensure consistent and effective warranty cost handling and reporting, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
• Manage liability cases and commercial settlements with customers.
• Conduct thorough technical risk assessments during the R&D and design phases.
• Prioritize and escalate cases based on severity and urgency.

We imagine that you have:

• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams or projects.
• Strong technical insight and commercial acumen.
• Experience in warranty cost handling and risk management.
• Familiarity with ISO31000 and COSO standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development.

You will join the Warranty Cost and Product Safety department within the functional area Engine Lifecycle Management. We are a part of a unified Engineering Two-Stroke organisation with the clear ambition to reflect our role as the crankshaft of the MAN ES Engine lifecycle, responsible for the overall end-to-end processes covering the full engine lifecycle.

Together with our colleagues within the functional area, we also ensure production process validation and quality in the supply chain as well as safe and compliant market introduction of marine products through an efficient approval process.

We are collaborating with a wide range of departments within Engineering, R&D and our after-sales organization PrimeServ. The working atmosphere is relaxed and all are committed to succeed as a team by being supportive, flexible and share knowledge and experience.
