Just Eat Takeaway.com is looking for a Manager who, through cooperation, will handle our logistics business in Copenhagen and other cities in Zealand, including management of five to seven team leaders who every day ensure that there are enough drivers on duty, that our drivers thrive and do a solid job. If you have experience with management through managers and love working with people at a fast pace, here is an exciting opportunity to work for the world's largest company in online takeaway.
 

You will report to our Head of Operations, who is responsible for the day-to-day logistics department at Just Eat Denmark, and your day-to-day work will be at our office in Østerbro. Together with the remaining Manager team, you ensure a stable logistics department that supports and creates the basis for the business to continue its growth.

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the department's KPIs and OKRs are met. In addition, you are responsible for:

  • Management of a logistics unit with five-seven team leaders and +500 drivers
  • Mainly responsible for managing the operation every day of the week from 07.00-24.00
  • Communicate system errors/improvement requests to the technical organisation
  • Support work with SOP and ongoing process improvements.
  • Organise onboarding and training of employees
  • Implementation of logistic setup in several new cities
  • Follow-up and control of deliveries
  • Adherence to the budget for your department

What do we expect of you?

  • You have management experience from a logistics/operations-oriented organisation, exceptional people skills, and a good understanding of business.
  • You are a role model and willing to take on responsibility as an ambassador to the outside world and thrive in a position where independence is expected.
  • You have experience in motivating and engaging both managers and employees - all with a focus on creating the best takeaway experiences.
  • You are used to running fast and thrive in a fast-changing everyday life where you have to lead the way and create natural companionship.
  • You are fluent in english, both written and spoken.
